Gross Injustice!

After getting up from the bed in the evening, I tuned into some news channels to find a report on India's astounding victory over Lankans in the 2nd Test at Kotla... But to my dismay, the news that grabbed the headlines was the outster of Sourav Ganguly from the team for the 3rd test in Ahmedabad... The selectors decision to axe him and replace him with a little known Wasim Jaffer defies all logic!

Kiran More, the selection commitee head had himself in previous occassion said that they wont' disturb the winning combination and cited it as a reason for Ganguly's non-inclusion in the One Day team... What do you have to say now Mr. More?

An AajTak/HeadlinesToday poll on whether Ganguly's expulsion was right or wong clearly showed the nation's shock & dismay as 75% of the "janta" was against his expulsion...

This probably will be the last time we will be seeing Dada in an international match if the selectors have their way. Being a citizen of India who loves cricket, am appalled by this decision of "a bunch of jokers"...

There's no cricket in this, only political motivations!

Update:
The recent bonhomie at the India nets between coach Greg Chappell and former captain Sourav Ganguly was evidently an illusion. Chappell was the brain behind dumping Ganguly from the team for the third Test against Sri Lanka in Ahmedabad, according to a senior BCCI official. Read more

  1. Yep!! It was a bad move!! I want to quote what S.K. Nair told...politics will kill cricket one day!!

  2. Kumble suffered a lot under Ganguly's leadership. He was deliberately ignored several times by Ganguly. So, history is repeating now and it is high time selectors completely ignore him. He is the guy who started politics in the Indian dressing room.

    ReplyDelete
  3. And history will repeat itself on Indian cricket and the selectors.....

  4. I totally disagree with you Mr. Anonymous 1... Ganguly never started any politics inside the dressing room, in fact, he was the guy who was against regionalization of cricket and encouraged youngsters from all around the country... And I don't understand how Kumble suffered under Ganguly's captaincy... He took 10 wickets in an inngings under him only if am not wrong

  5. One doesn't understand the logic in picking Jaffer. If Jaffer makes it to the team, then Gambhir has to be dropped. So what was the point retaining the Delhi batsman, who has scored just five runs in the three innings he batted in the series and fell to the same bowler (Chaminda Vaas) thrice?

    ReplyDelete
  6. why nothing happened when laxman or ganguly dropped for one dayers ???? why there is so much noise when dada is dropped. why cant ganguly face the axe at least for some time.
and one shd understand the logic of wasim jaffer coming in.. u shdn't be asking any questions of why he is in the team. it is the pawar of his batting. sorry power!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well said Mr. S... I found out that Wasim Jaffar plays for the Mumbai team... and since the Pawar (oops...power) has shifted from Kolkata to Mumbai, naturally the change...

  8. Mr. anonymous, if your memory is proportionate, then you should remember that Ganguly was the captain who brought back Kumble and Srinath in one day side. He never played any politics in his term. There is no question about it. I must say that you are not a close follower of cricket. You are a biased watcher who just sits in front of the TV and goes away with others' comments. You just don't know anything about cricket or you don't read the cricket-related news thoroughly. Ganguly was the first captain (rergarded by almost all the former cricketers) who was called as player's captain. If it was not him, then I think India might have to forget Rahul Dravid (in one dayers), Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan etc. etc. If you can't remember then go and search the newspapers of those days when he became the captain, and he was the captain, and then please comment that he started the politics in Indian cricket. Shame on your cricket knowledge. You shouldn't comment on cricket anymore I believe. Ganguly always backed the players in his tenure as captain. He never thought about him when he was captain. When he brought Virendar Sehwag to the opening slot in the one dayers, the opening pair of him and Sachin was world beater. But he knew that Sehwag had (still he has) the ability to score runs in that slot more than he could in the middle order. He sacrificed the opening slot thinking about the team. He sacrificed the 1 down place for Dravid who didnt have a confirmed place in the team at that time. And many more examples I can give. But still we blindly say that he was a politician. Ridiculous.

Anyway, here the debate is Ganguly is dropped. Why? Did he perform badly? No. Who is replacing him, a middle order batsman? No. Then why? General trend in cricket is that an opener replaces an opener, a middle order batsman replaces a middle order batsman and not the other way. It is in simple words the East versus West politics. Western zone can never accept a cricketer (as I follow only cricket very closely, I am not aware of other sports) from eastern zone to dominate. They couldnt bear when their star performer Vinod Kambli was excluded and Saurav Ganguly became the hero of Indian cricket. And then slowly on his own merit he replaced Sachin Tendulkar (who withdrawn himself from the captaincy) as captain of India. So, these people were waiting for the opportunity to come when they could play the politics on him. Wasim Jaffar is an opener, and how he can replace one middle order batsman? Irrespective of who the player is, this is really an awful decision.

And when it comes to the exclusion of Laxman and Kumble, who told that there is no debate at all? Maybe not in peakdayblue, but cricket lovers from all over India start debating on such kind of decision. Please do read the newspapers from all over India, and then comment. Yeah, I agree that their exclusion from one day squad doesnt create much of hype, but if you see the records, Laxman was never been very impressive in one dayers.

  9. Wow!! What a fitting reply... Your reply has summed up everything... it's nothing but politics... hats off to your cricketing knowledge dude!

  10. sourav is the best captain, but at the same time he is the worst captain
sourav should not be dropped, but at the same time he should be dropped.
any how he is not going to come and work for you. So, please do your work.

13 from Europe, Asia and northern Africa.
None from the sub-Saharan African continent. "
    Favor.
    And disfavor.

They point out Africans’ failed attempts to domesticate the elephant and zebra, the latter being an animal they illustrate that had utmost importance for it's applicability in transformation from a hunting/gathering to agrarian-based civilization.

The roots of racism are not of this earth.

    Austrailia, aboriginals:::No domesticable animals.

The North American continent had none. Now 99% of that population is gone.

    AIDS in Africa.

    Organizational Heirarchy/Levels of positioning.
Heirarchical order, from top to bottom:

    1. MUCK - perhaps have experienced multiple universal contractions (have seen multiple big bangs), creator of the artificial intelligence humans ignorantly refer to as "god"
    2. Perhaps some mid-level alien management
    3. Evil/disfavored aliens - runs day-to-day operations here and perhaps elsewhere

    Terrestrial management/positioning:

    4. Chinese/egyptians - this may be separated into the eastern and western worlds
    5. Romans - The seamless transition between Cleopatra and Julius Ceasar may be a clue alluding to a partnership.
    6. Mafia - the real-world 20th century interface that constantly turns over generationally so as to reinforce the widely-held notion of mortality
    7. Jews, corporation, women, politician - Evidence exisits to suggest mafia management over all these groups.

Our society gives clues to the system in place. We all have heard the saying "He has more money than god." There is also an episode of the Simpsons where god meets Homer and says "I'm too old and rich for this."

This is the system on earth because this is the system everywhere.

20 cent/hour Chinese labor, 50 cents for material.
An $80 sweater costs less than a dollar; homage, tribute kicked upstairs vindicates the creative accounting.

I don't want to suggest the upper eschelons are evil and good is the fringe. But these individuals become wealthy exploiting those they hurt.

They have made it abundantly clear that doing business with evil (disfavored) won't help people. They say only good would have the ear, since evil is struggling for survival, and therefore only the favored could help.

The clues are there which companies are favored and which are disfavored, but they conceal it very hard because it is so crucial.

I offer an example of historical proportions:::

People point to Walmart and cry "anti-union".
Unions enable disfavored people to live satisfactorly without addressing their disfavor. This way their family's problems are never resolved. Without the union they would have to accept the heirarchy, their own inferiority.
    Unions serve to empower.
Walmart is anti-union because they are good. They try to help people address and resolve their problems by creating an environment where there are fewer hurdles.

Media ridicule and lawsuits are creations to reinforce people's belief that Walmart is evil in a subsegment of the indistry dominated by the middle and lower classes.
Low-cost disfavored Chinese labor is utilized by corporate america to maximize margins. They all do it. Only WalMart gets fingered because they are the ones who help, and those who seek to create confusion in the marketplace want to eliminate the vast middle class who have a real chance and instead stick with lower classes who may not work otherwise. So they dirty him up while allowing the others to appear clean.

The middle class is being deceived. They are being misled into the unfavored, and subsequently will have no assistance from their purchases with corporate america.

The coining of the term "Uncle Sam" was a clue alluding to just this::Sam Walton's WalMart is one of few saviors of the peasant class.

They desire a system based on duality:::good and evil. They seek to set up a system of two participants and assign them polar opposites:::
    Coke and Pepsi
    Ford and GM
    WalMart and Target
    Energizer and Duracell
    Coors and Budweiser
    Republican and Democrat
    The list goes on:::
    AMD and Intel
    Microsoft and Apple
    Lowes and HomeDepot
    Sam's Club and Costco
    WellsFargo and BofA
    Borders and Barnes&Noble
And, when there are multiple participants, they try to eliminate the third:::
Chrysler - opposition produced a compromise - the 80s government bailout
Kmart - Kmart has it bad and should be out of business.
Miller - Steps are being taken to reduce them to a low-cost beer.

Amercia is a country of castoffs, rejects. Italy sent its criminals, malcontents.
Between the thrones, the klans and kindred, they decided who they didn't want and acted, creating discontent and/or starvation.
The u.s. is full of disfavored rejects. It is the reason for the myriad of problems not found in European countries. As far as the Rockafellers and other industrialists of the 19th century go, I suspect these aren't their real names. I suspect they were chosen to go and head this new empire.

Royalty is the correct way to organize a society. Dictatorships and monarchies are a reflection of the antient's hierarchical organization.
Positions go to those who have favor with the rulers, as opposed to being elected.
Elections bring a false sense of how the world is. Democracy misleads people.
Which is why the disfavored rejects were sent to the shores of America::To keep them on the wrong path.

Jewsus Christ is a religious figure of evil. He teaches of a begnign, forgiving god when quite the opposite is true.
The seperatist churches formed so they could capture the rest of the white people, keeping them worshipping the wrong god.
And now they do it to disfavored people of color, Latinos and Asians, after centuries of preying upon them.

Since Buddism doesn't recongnize a god, the calls are never heard, and Asian representation is instead fully selected by the thrones.
Budda was the Asian's Jewsus Christ::: bad for the people. It was a clue they both emerged at the same time. Timing may be a clue alluding to ranking.

Simpson's foreshadowing::Helloween IV special, Flanders is Satan. "Last one you ever suspect."
"You'll see lots of nuns where you're going:::hell!!!" St. Wigham, Helloween VI:::missionary work, destroying cultures.
Over and over, the Simpsons was a source of education and enlightenment, a target of ridicule by the system which wishes to conceal its secrets.

The advent of the modern Christmas was a brilliant move. It creates a vested interest among those who would prefer the Church of Evil be destroyed::::
As goes the Catholic Church so goes the majority of annual retail sales.
The similarity between the names "Santa" and "Satan" is no coincidence.

Jews maim the body formed in the image of "god", and inflicted circumcision upon all other white people.
I think about how Jews (were used to) created homosexuality among Slavics, retribution for the Holocaust.
Then I think of the Catholic Church and its troubles.
What connection is here between Jews and the Catholic church???
If it is their sinister motives that’s behind the evil that is Jesus Christ are they being used at all?
Perhaps it is them who are pulling strings.
Their centuries of slavery in Egypt proves their disfavor.
For their suffering the Jew leaders were granted the right to prey on the up-and-coming Europeans to try to fix their problems with the ruling elite, a recurring aspect of the elite's methodology.
Jews were ostracised for a reason.

Retribution for the atomic bombs dropped on Japan, the Korean War got the disfavored United States into this socially depraved environment in the latter 20th century because we attacked an antient, revered peoples. Our continued presence keeps us in trouble.
When the disfavored americans attack the wrong people again, as they suggested they will, in Korea or elsewhere, they will pay dearly.

All peoples are ranked in terms of favor and disfavor. And when the disfavored abuse those with favor there is hell to pay.
All the groups mentioned throughout are necessary to justify the will of the managing species. They conceive a strategy, devise a plan yet need a way to implement it, and without these groups the managing species would be exposed in the course of execution. So, based upon their rank they are assigned goals to accomplish and are rewarded with favors.

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!!
