The most curious thing about the first ODI between India and Pakistan was Inzamam’s dismissal, given out obstructing the field. It’s a very rare dismissal.
Moin Khan has questioned the spirit of the appeal, but to my mind, I have no complaints. I think Inzamam was being a bit of a smartarse, and he paid the price.

Voila!!! There is no point for Inzy to whine like a kid and raise an issue. Being an experienced player, he should, of course, have known the laws of the game. It's hysterical of him correlating the incident and creating a rift between the two playing nations. Though experienced, he ain't matured enough, reacting fanatically to the situation. One should well be aware of the fact that rules are rules. There was a similar incident involving Sachin and Akthar, a year or two before, at Eden Gardens. Sachin was ruled out, wherein after reaching well within the crease, he accidentally collided with the Rawalpindi Mail, ending up lifting his bat, and fell short of the crease. Where did all the whining and nagging go at that time? C'mon Inzy, focus on to the rest of the series, and try somnthing new to stop the powerful batting lineup of India.
