I was reading about the much publicized telephone tapping of Samajvadi Party leaders, Amar Singh and Mulayam Singh by a private detective agency in Delhi, allegedly forging duplicate certificates of police officials. Samajvadi members are paranoia about this issue and are now seeking support from all non-Congress CMs of state, including Jayalalithaa.
I noticed an interesting bit of news this now hyped-up news:
"Mr. Mulayam Singh defended Mr. Amar Singh's conversations with some film actresses, saying he had the right to privacy". :-)
I wonder which "film actresses" were they talking about.
My personal view on this issue is that once you become a public figure, either a politician or a film star, you are answerable to the public and there's no such thing like a private life. So, better be prepared!

Of course!! It applies not only to individuals .....
ReplyDeleteIf we worry and erase or take off "Comments" section from a blog... from which consequences are very often insignificant, people involved in public life will definitely defend their private life ..... since consequences can be anything.
When you have the right to question, the other party has the right to answer, which may be sometimes defending their ownself
Cheers
I don't mind anyone calling me a spade.. coz I like people who call a spade a spade...
ReplyDeleteBut, using my medium to communicate hatred of someone else is a strict "no no" in my dictionary Mr. Hehehehe
So ur idea of "turning off" comments which u feel are insignificant doesn't hold true!
Hi Peakday:
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I appreciate your media Policy, secondly thanks for accepting that it is not "insignificant"
Hope, the Phone tapping issue too goes this way ...
Anyway, facts will come out.
Living examples are there in both the cases.
Cheers
