With the indian economy in fifth gear, thanks to a booming IT/BPO domain and with jobs galore, indian job sites had never had it so good.
If Sanjeev Bikhchandani, the founder of Naukri.com made his place in the Millionaire's Club list after his company's IPO, international brands such as Monster.com has a dedicated indian subsidiary.
And thanks to this boom, there are more jobs out there than resources and poaching is the buzzword these days for companies in India.
Monster India recently launched a Video Profile service for employers.
"Monster Video Profile is aimed at employers who are conscious of attracting the best talent and it is a tool to position their organizations as the best places to work."
As for Naukri.com, it launched a new website asknaukri.com.
"The First website of its kind in the Indian online space, asknaukri.com aims to be the best possible credible source of information relating to career needs across the work life span of a user."
And the other significant player in this market, TimesJobs.com is having a significant offline presence and is adding lakhs of probable names to its database by organizing Job Fairs across India.
As a personal advice to all my readers, I don't think it's a good idea to put up your resume in any jobsites. Employers tend to look down on those who has a resume up there which can be searched by any other prospective employer.
Yes I agree. Lot of Employers look for their employees resumes at job sites and those employees who regularly updates their resume are in real trouble.
ReplyDeleteEmployees generally update their resumes only when they want to leave an organization. So, why worry that someone is going to look at it.
