Another weekend ahead!!

Another weekend ahead!!

Oh Yeah!! Another weekend ahead... Yippeee... (PS: Me having an extended weekened coz am off on Monday too) :-)

So, after another week of "die-hard" work, here comes the sweet weekend ahead. So, what have I planned for this weekend? Sadly, nothing!!

I am going off to my native place and have got plenty of work to do...
Priority 1 this weekend will be, of course, family. My uncles, aunts, and cousins have been complaining lately that I've become more busier than the President of America!! When will they realize man!!

Priority 2 will be to catch up with some of my "long lost" college friends.... am sincrely hoping that they will identify me (have gained so much weight over the past few months)....

The rest of the time I will be indulging in one of my favorite passtimes... being a couch potato...

As some of you know, in Kerala you get plenty of channels thanks to Asianet Cable. So, this whole weekend I will be crunching some Lays or Kurkure (courtesy KG Extention Canteen) and relishing some of my favorite programs.

Okay guys, bye, my close friends RR & Ramesh are behind me right now pestering me to go to Jyothi Bakery....

More stories later!!! Enjoy the weekend!!

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!!
