Mamma Mia!!

I was Event Briefing Biosite Inc.'s earnings conference call and had to encounter a lot of mouthfullwords like GIARDIA LAMBLIA, CRYPTOSPORIDIUM PARVUM and ENTAMOEBA HISTOLYTICA/DISPAR

And then it suddently struck... why not search for the longest medical word...and here's what I found...


PNEUMONO-ULTRA-MICROSCOPIC-SILICO-VOLCANO-CONIOSIS

This a lung disease caused by breathing in particles of siliceous volcanic dust.

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations.
