Who will win this time?

As the dust settles down, it's time for the last 8 remaining teams out of the total 32 to take on each other for the glory called Fifa World Cup! Come Friday & Saturday, it will be the Quarter Finals which will decide which 4 teams will take on each other in the Semis. And then the mega final!!

Now, for my dear Peak Day Blues' readers, here's a chance to predict who will win this time. As usual, the poll is given on the right hand side of the page. Go ahead and select ur favorite team and vote for them!

  3. It will be Brazil vs Argentina and Brazil will win final. It is a joy to watch those two teams fight it out for the coveted trophy. Even though my heart goes out to Argentina, since I am Brazil fanatic, I wish to see Brazil win the final. Waiting eagerly to watch Kaka and Ronaldihno explode in final.

  4. Yeah, even I dream about a Brazil Vs. Argentina final this time. But the only difference is that I support the Argentinians this time. I don't have any problems with Brazil and I do admire most of their players, but I think they have already had enough of World Cups at home, so let it be Argentinians this time.

  5. Sorry dear, but I just could not resist the temptation of the secret lying inside me. I just had to let it go out. By the way France will win FIFA 2006 - i proclaim that.

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!!
