Yay, Women's Day!!

To all your feminists out there, Happy Women's Day!

You know, I always wondered... there's Children's Day, There's Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Friendship Day, but why no Mens Day!! This is gross injustice to all us bread winners! Guys, let's all beat our hands in the chest and bring out a loud howl!!

Comments

  1. Hi Masculinist!

Era after era, you have been doing only one thing bread winning and just doing that one thing you guys think you are the some thing great.

WE feminist do nothing but only these small things.

    * cooking for men and his offsprings
    * washing for men and his offsprings
    * working for men and his offsprings these days.
    * sleeping for men (I am sorry I have to add this)
    and not but the least
    * bearing offsprings for men

Many Era after, only the male chauvinist "bread winners" started suppressing, feminists thought why not at least we put up that female is another living being that does something more than its counterpart

I am defntly not a feminist

    but a female

  2. Yep, you are right, it's only "era after era" and by the way that "era" is gone now!

Though I respect women power and liberisation, I don't think there's a need to proclaim oneself on a single day with all the media focus... That itself shows there's feminism in it!

And btw, regarding ur small things... Ask any married man and he will tell you how many of these so called "small things" are on us poor men's head, other than ofcourse bearing offsprings!!

So, wat am trying to say is, if at all the fairer sex wants to liberate themselves from us chauvunists, do it subtly, not by proclaiming your prowess on a single day and going back to the same old routine from next day

  3. Hi RC!

Let them do whatever they want, and how they want to do it. How is it affecting you (male). ?

Do we say, shall the politicians do it subtly?

Do we say, shall the business people do subtly

Do we say, shall the media people put it across subtly.

NO, we have never, we will never.

but then why not these people?

By telling/asking them to do the way you (male) like is what they are opposing.

They wanted to do the way they want . Who are these males to tell, do this like this?

How many of us have asked the politicians, the leaders, the scientists, the doctors, the fake sanyasis, the corrupts, and culprits to do it the way we people want (people = both male and female)?

    Just simply
Can you tell how many guys wants a "housewife" as their life partner these days.

Can you tell how many guys tell their parents, I will marry a girl without a penny?

Can you tell how many guys tell "okay girl, I know it is difficult to manage office, kids, and home, so stay at home, I will take care.

Can you tell how many guys say, "Okay you are tired, go have a good night sleep today"

When lovers want to "exhibit" their love on the one fair day; let this be a fair day to at least put their stress out.

I 100% agree with you regarding "shout one day and back to ones routine" it is not the right way, but may be, who knows it is only a beginning

Why are the guys not ready to pass the 33%? (who knows when it will be!!). But if it happens, may be yes, there won't be a one spl day, but many in a row!!

And btw, I don't know if the term "Chauvunist" was used deliberately, it just jumped out without your knowledge. If it was deliberate, i don't have any comments. But if it has come in letters without your knowledge ... then that's in your(male) blood ..... then that is what these feminists were/are/will be talking/opposing about...

Regarding media focus; today's media has also fallen a prey to the race in becoming No:1. Daily we watch, except for a few***, how even a small matter is being hyped. So this is not the problem of "feminists" or anybody for that matter under coverage.

    Cheers

Then why are you saying that men should beat their hands on their chests like gorillas and ask for a "Men's Day".. You are contradicting yourself...

I DO!! If in doubt, ask my WIFE

regarding your other things, like who asks businessmen or politicians, I think you're right... No one questions them and that's one of the main drawbacks of our democratic society and why we still have so many people below poverty line in India... but that whole issue is in a different plateau...

Though this Womens Day was announced by the UN, these same businessmen and politicians have turned it into a tamasa...

You are welcome by glossy ads of Jewelry shops, boutiques, banks, and ther traders wishing ALL THE BEST to Women on Womens Day, obviously to attrack eyeballs!! Do they think they really care about it??

I'm telling you the gals down south are a lot more liberated than poeple in North India. In fact, you are lucky to have been born in a good society. I've personally seen the pains a girl/woman goes through in her life in Rajasthan and other parts of North. This so called "WOMANS DAY" doesn't make any difference to them...

So, rather than trumpeting your achievements, by way of benefiting others, which again is utilization of the fairer sex, try to do something that really will change the lives of many women in the world!

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!!
