Bangladesh's very own Grameen Bank, a novel and a blockbuster concept in banking and its founder are this year's Nobel Peace Price winners. I am only delighted that finally an international body has recognized this venture which has changed the lives of millions of poors in Bangladesh through its Microcredit policy.
Though we have many banks in India that do microcrediting, it hasn't yet reached the grassroots level, what the farmers committing suicides in Maharashtra and Kerala.
