Kiddie Channels!



It's a public secret that I like cartoons, especially Tom & Jerry and Popeye and watching Cartoon Network is one of my fav hobbies of killing stress and at times boredom (though I don't get time to get bored) :-)

A year or two ago, Pogo was introduced as yet another kids channel in India but instead of showing cartoons it was catering more to games, children serials etc. Though I used to be a regular viewer of Pogo, when I shifted my house to Chitra Nagar the local cable wallah was not offering it. Grrr...

But over the past one month, he has started offering some more bouqet of channels and luckily Pogo was one among them.

And Takeshi's Castle is one of my favs. It's a Japanese based game show and our very own Javed Jaffri is giving the sound over to this show. More than the show I watch it for Javed's wits.

By the way, don't ever miss Just For Laughs - Gags in Pogo, usually shown at prime times.... You will have stomach ache laughing!!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny.
