Ending months of speculations, Vivek Paul, the Vice Chairman of Wipro has quit citing personal and professional reasons. He has told CNBC that he had some professional diagreements with the Wipro board and that is one of the reasons. Vivek Paul is joining Pacific Group and he will be based in New York from now onwards.....
Update: Paul is the second top executive to quit Wipro in a month (Raman Roy, founder of the Indian BPO industry quit earlier this month). Media sources cites Azim Premji's high handedness, he own 84% of Wipro stock. Speculation abound that Azim Premji's 27-year-old son who just graduated from Harvard will replace Paul.
