Geoffrey Boycott once famous quoted that Duckworth-Lewis is rubbish and Ian Chappell had also expressed the same views. Who in earth at that time would have thought that this same method will one day spell doom for India!

    Hi RC,

    i cannot agree with the headline coz i dont think Duckworth-Lewis rule was the only reason for India's defeat 2day. i think Pakistan played more strategically. both the teams knew that anytime Duckworth-Lewis law can come into play and Pak did their mathematics perfectly. dont forget that they were chasing a huge target and yet they were able to achieve that. so i don't think that only Duckworth-Lewis law was responsible. and what's the guarantee that if the match would gone till the last over, our players would have made it coz younis khan was still batting.
