Well done Bob Woolmer!

All the credit to Pakistan's victory today goes to their "phoren coach" Bob Woolmer and his crooked strategy. I read in some dailies that he has hatched a plan where the first two tests will be played in flat pitches with no results and then asking to prepare a pitch which will obviously help the Pak seamers get over the famed Indian batting line up.

Even if it is not true and India genuinely lost this match, I would prefer to believe the other way round.

Great "crooked job" Mr. Woolmer!

  2. Success and failure is all part of sports, but the real victory is for sportsman spirit. From the early blow the first session of the very first day, if the Pakistan team could win the match it shows they were good in the match, which should always be appreciated.

Coming out with such excuses is never going to help and it is childish.

Let us together congratulate the Pakistan Team for such a wonderful performance and hope that the Indian Team does better in the upcoming series.

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!!
