Well, if we are to go by this report, Scientists have predicted that another tsunami will hit Asia within the next year.
News@nature.com has quoted Professor John McCloskey, one of the three authors of the report, as saying that a tsunami triggered by the Sunda trench would mostly dissipate in the Southern Ocean. But Indonesia, particularly Sumatra, would almost certainly be struck again, and the wave would probably wash up on southern African shores too
