Honda Unicorn - A user's review!

Upon solicitation, I take pleasure in penning a few words on the Unicorn, Honda's 4-stroke pride introduction. From a racy front face and a masculine fuel tank to the sleek rear cowl and unique mono-suspension, the Unicorn is a perfect fusion of sporty and macho design. The checkmate move of Honda is its mono-suspension, which enables it to fly smoothly over the highly punctuated Indian roads without any body ache or travel fatigue. The next feature worth mentioning is its state-of-the-art tuff-up tube in the rear which minimizes the incidents of sudden puncture by 70%.

"Be a wing rider" goes the slogan, and true to it the vehicle clocks 0-60 in just five seconds. It is armed with a powerful 150 cc, 13.3 bhp engine, and promises a mileage of 60 kms/ltr, which is already too good for a 4-stroke engine. There are wing riders who are enjoying an amazing 70 kms/ltr, and this is no fiction .

In short, it is a pleasure riding the Unicorn. It is very smooth, has excellent transmission, and great power. If you don't believe me, just test fly it, give it a go, you won't be just convinced but highly attracted.

Ariyaatha pillakku choriyumbol ariyum!

As a kid/teenager, my only source of information to learn malayalam was Manorama Publications' Balaram, a children's fortnightly and my granny. I still vividly remember how she used to teach me the basics of malayalam whenever I come to Kerala on vacations. My granny was also a great source of amazement for me as she used malaylam proverbs or the so called "pazham chollu" every now and then. These proverbs, though small in length and use, had deep insights! Though I can read/write Malayalam today, thx to Balarama and my granny, I used to miss her proverbs a lot. But not anymore!! Thanks to this Wikipedia link , forwarded to me by Vinay
